This video was very helpful. I'm a female who's trying to do more things myself and you just saved me $50 at the dealership. I think i changed it in about 10 minutes and I didn't even break a nail! ;)

Thank you sooo much for the video. I had no clue how to replace it and you made it simple so anyone can do it. Was able to do it on my own. Thanks again!!

Is there any place that has directions for the 2004 acura TL. i cannot take it off with these directions. thanks

Oh for fucks sake, FUCK ACURA! they had to make this filter a fucking bitch to take off. I should have bought a G35 back then. I have the 2004 Acura TL and this doesn't work. I cannot push in the side of the glove box and make the glove box go down. Never buying a peice of shit Acura again. The Transmission on my Acura is even worse, the peice of shit is tarting to make noise and probavly gonna cost over 4k to fix.

what a pain in the ass to get to lol

@01sachem Mines a 04 as well. There were not those extra screws on the inside and I just pried the plastic tabs out with a screwdriver from the inside and took them out. They popped right back into place when I was putting it back together.

Bout to go outside n do this right now! burr

Inside of my 2004 was not the same as that in the video. Squeezing to release sides impossible, needed long screw driver blade to leverage out and to slide back in (slide over tip.) Screw to remove box were on the side not above. Be careful pulling out if configured like mine, plastic tabs on left can break off.
How much does Acura usually charge for this? Excellent video, very helpful. Saves people hard earned money.

By the way, what is that on/off switch that has the picture of a car trunk for? Its at the top left of the glovebox. Anyone?

The car in the video is an 05 TL, the on/off switch in the glovebox is to disable the trunk release button.
