I bet his stache braced against the top side of the mic is what makes his voice so sexy and smooth.

This song is very Dire Straits sounding. I love it!

@ddw1fan Well I know plenty about "what a chord is," and when I said that this progression is the same as lovers in a dangerous time, I was right. vi-I-IV is the progression I'd say it is, off the top of my head, in both cases. As for the melody, I still think it's similar, though note that I never said identical. Maybe my taste diverges from yours but my ear is unassailable. Good-day

This band is soo original. It's like nothing I've ever heard before!

@tastyburrito09 Hey Tastless Burrito. Maybe you should learn what a chord is before you criticise the DDW's chord progressions! The melody is so not at all alike. This is not the same! Get a freakin' ear, butt munch. This band rocks in an '"unmodern" way and they can make a freaking song come alive!! Man, people can be so ignorant..

Same chords as Bruce Cockburn's "lovers in a dangerous time" and similar melody too. A shining example of the mediocrity and unoriginality of modern rock!!!

We could play the "that's the same chord progression" game all day. These are great lyrics woven into a great song with exceptionally tasteful delivery. This band is far from mediocre! I'm curious as to what you consider the good original "modern rock"??? "Modern" is not a word that comes to mind when I listen to or think of DDW.
