Secret Love Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff (born April 3, 1924)[1] is an American singer, actress, and animal welfare advocate known as Doris Day. A vivacious blonde with a wholesome image, Day was one of the most prolific actresses of the 1950s and 1960s. Able to sing, dance, and play comedy and dramatic roles, she became one of the biggest box-office stars in Hollywood. She has almost 40 films to her credit and has recorded approximately 45 albums.

  • I'll always love this song - because it's the only song my mother ever got to really hear me sing full out in front of a crowd of 900 before she died. That was also the night I truly learned I had a great voice and one I'd inherited from her (she gave up a potential opera career to have me). Thanks mom!

    Maybe in the movies LESTR7L1, but in reality, life was made up of the very same things we all dislike today.

    The songs were romantic, but man was still at war, people were hurting each other, and children were suffering.

    The more things change, the more they remain the same.
