Thames Valley Car Club 17 June 2007. This 12A Rotary doesn't start rolling till 3000 rpm, there's nothing on till 5000. From there it's just insane till 11000 rpm. And here it's trying to do a Motokhana, comedy maybe?

  • Peripheral Port is only good for a real race car no good for any kind of street car

  • @ericjkent see the video response. The black rx7 is the same car. See start of clip and at 2:28. There's the pp much more at home than this low speed event.

  • Haha, that's an interesting way to use a PP.

Though I have to say, way to preserve spirit of the car: that paint job is straight from 1985! =P

  • Was this in NZPC RaceLine last year or the year before? it looks familiar...

  • Could half that time if he wasnt scared to use his right foot abit

  • @ericjkent No argument I worked on a Mazda race team in IMSA and we ran our peripheral ports at 13000 rpm redline they were dead reliable for 24 hours plus. We won the 24 Hours Of Daytona for 2 years in a row with our RX7s 1981 1982. Kent Racing

  • hahah the mud flaps are so sexy hahahaha where do i get some in the 1.5 m length?

  • Peripheral port ruined it, it takes away all of the low down torque, which you need for this.

  • That Leadfoots car?

  • i wich i had that car!!
