yeah the guy gave him the correct rate.. 1:00 - 1:20. He stated very clearly the quote was for .002 Cents... this after the customer asked very clearly if it was .002 cents or .002 dollars. "The rep said 'sorry, .002 cents." Then the manager said they were quoting ".002 cents"' So they both quoted the rate he was paying was .002 cents, not .2 cents
The rate is correct, he's just using confusion to mess with us and the guy. The rate is .2 cents. If you put that in a dollar amount it's $0.002. That's their rate, and to calculate the amount they paid they multiply the kB by .002.
So there is some stupidity on the Verizon stores part, but he's also stupid to think that .2 cents is not equal to.002 dollars. The guy gives him the correct rate. They were just too stupid to realize they should have been saying .002$ and .2 c.
@jjones1987 the difference between cents and dollars in this instance is extreme. if the rate is .002 cents the costomer would owe 71.79 cents, or .7179 dollars. they are telling him he owes 71.79 DOLLARS. i would say thats a fairly large difference in cost
@jjones1987 ummmmmm??? are you completely ignorant?? .002 CENTS is NOT the same as point .002 DOLLARS. just like 100 mL is not the same as 100 L. if you wanted to find out how many liters were equal to 100 mL you would have to divide the mL by 1000. so if you wanted to find out how many dollars are equal to .002 cents you divide by 100 which would equal .00002 DOLLARS. congrats on making yourself look completely stupid
haha! correct rate but not the correct payment, they wanted him to pay $71, before they even did the conversion! What's this world comming to? XD
