The actor Thomas Kretschmann, who plays Remer in the film Valkyrie, is great--worth the price of the movie.

I have no use whatsoever for the jewish Glittering Ghetto of Hollywood...I wish the Japs had bombed the living crap out of Hollywood rather than Pearl harbor....but I've heard rave reviews about "Valkyrie"...I don't know, is it really worth watching?

Maybe if R hadn't lined up the entire Pacific fleet..No, maybe when it makes its way to free TV, but that's an individual judgment.One problem is the audience doesn't know who these people are, so doesn't care about their fates, like Goebbels was on the hit list not as Promi Minister but as Gauleiter of Berlin. Btw, Remer died only recently and Google obits say 'unrepentant,' so do watch the Youtube newsreel of the actual Remer in 1944, it's, uh, unrepentant all right, which the actor nailed.
