09-30-11 Colorado Mortgage Home Loan Rate Update by Randy Flood

Colorado Mortgage and Home Loan Rates are better today in spite of the positive economic news. Although the Michigan Consumer Sentiment was up to 59.4 from the expectation of 57.5 it is still really bad. Consumers expect the economy to be worse than after 9/11 and even worse than the big financial meltdown of 2007 -2009. That's not good! Although the Chicage PMI jumped to 60.4 instead of to 54, I believe companies are purchasing equipment which will replace workers/employees. Not good if you are an employee that loses his/her job. Unemployment will continue to rise if that happens.

Personal Income was expected up, but was down. So was Personal Spending. If you have less incom, you will have less income to spend! Duh.

I expect Colorado Mortgage Rates to continue to stay low or possibly even go a little lower. The Global Economy is hurting, the US economy is struggling, the Government and Politicans are fighting each other/no real solution, and with Consumers Expecting Much Worse Times, this sets the stage for lower rates.
