You can also buy lego guns from BrickArms
-
or you could leave little holes for gun holes
-
personally I have a large back yard to work with so I dug the trenches with real earth and placed (dirt brown) bricks on bottom for the Lego soldiers, and tanks cross them and mortars pound them. The earth makes better No Mans Land damage.

@mlnelson4 If you really want to make a trench that has the right colors, than you can order them off pickabrick (not a paid ad) but otherwise, I used grey bricks to build mine if you've seen that video too.

i love it. can i build 2-5 trenches if i have the right pieces?
legolaser123 4 months ago
@legolaser123 Sure. They'd often use a series of three trenches to defend the front. The first being more open but left vacant during large scale bombardments, the second would hold backup troops and the shelter the ones who retreated from the first trench during said bombardments. The third would be reserve troops, and or troops from the front line trench who are resting.

Where do you get all those tan legos?

@bricksquad121 Long ago my brothers and I had taken a big interest in the desert Egyptian series (similar to the rehash that has recently come out) but honestly, those are ALL the tan legos I have lol
