Helmet Cam: 100 Yard Shotgun Slugs with Mossberg 590

Shooting 12 gauge one ounce rifled slugs at 100 yards with the Mossberg 590. Viewers get the perspective they are taking the shots via the helmet cam. The target was an 18 x 24 steel plate, with a slight elevation drop to the target.

There will probably be a sequel at some point; I want to try this again.

@DeadpoolDeadcool 75 yards with slugs isn't exactly impossible. Most people consider 150 yards or so the practical max with slugs. More if you have a rifled bore and sabots.

@joebanke Obviously you've never shot at 100 yards. Shooting, standing at 100 yards is very difficult with a rifle. With a shotgun with slugs, the accuracy is decreased. 75 yards is the maximum effective range of a shotgun, so this is not an easy shot to pull off.

With those rounds out of 930 spx, it hits about 1.5 inches low at 100 yards. I get about a 5-6 inch grouping. With my law enforvement rounds, I get a 3 inch grouping at 100 yards.

I have a 11 87 with a riffled barrle and a weaver scope on it with the scope riser so I can see the Iron sights to.....With the Iron sights at 100 yrds I can shoot a 3in group with the scope Im even better than that. I took three does in the first 2 days of Ny deer season with it last year at 120, 70, 70 yrds. Ive shot many guns set up with the ghoserings....Im pretty impressed you can even hit the target at 100yrds. Nice shooting.......
