Bühl, Burgerhaus.

It was a bit unexpected when Joe Wulf called Brandsma in the evening of december 2. for a tour along 15 theatres throughout Germany, starting only 2 days later. Happily it could all be arranged on this short notice and here are some of the results.
Earlier that year Brandsma had been asked to play the opening famous clarinet introduction of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Symphony Orchestra, so it came quite logical to use it in the closing cadenza of Blue Christmas. So started calling it the Rhapsody in Blue Christmas Without You!
This very tastefull arrangement is from the hand of Joe Wulf.

The Swinging Christmas tour played following dates :
04 dec : Bernburg (theater Bernburg
05 dec : Braunschweig (St. Pauli Kirche)
06 dec : Bonn (Brückenforum)
07 dec : Mannheim (Capitol)
08 dec : Bad Oeynhausen (Theater im Park)
10 dec : Freudenstadt (Theater im Kurhaus)

  • You always leave me amazed bert. I've been a fan since I discovered you in 2007 and you have inspired me to continue pursuing music. I have since performed professionally starting at age 15 and when I start college in the fall I will be pursuing degrees in music ed, performance, and composition. Thanks for the ever lasting inspiration, but more importantly, thank you for giving the gift of music to us all. - Coleman Rowlett
