He may not know much English but still he's got his way of making his point. His films are extreme but he always seemed like a beautiful person to me. LONG LIVE ARGENTO.

@blueroomexit I'd have to agree with you there. He's one of the few horror directors who looks as intense as his films. I'm not saying he's an unattractive guy, Hell I'm nobody to talk about looks, but he's got some creepy ass eyes.

Argento is hugely popular here. I don't get your "yanks" comment.....Our leading entertainment magazine went gaga over his work and ranked Susperia above Psycho.

I used to love Argento in my teens but as i started to explore Italian cinema more in my 20's, i finally realised why a small group of snobby Italian critics thought he was a joke, because he is nowhere near the level of film makers like De Sica, Antonioni or Fellini. He is like a porno director next to those guys.
