@xcribbledhearts Your story is similar to mine, but I still don't have my hearing aids. There are certain words I know I mispronounce, and I am a bit uncomfortable speakin because I don't know how I sound or if I'm really loud. I'm about to be sixteen, and am hopefully getting my hearing aids soon. I was daignosed 3 months ago, but have always been hard of hearing. I grew up as if I was hearing also
i am 17 and hard of hearing, i got my hearing aids about 5 months ago. i just have to say i am so blessed and when i first got them i felt just like the little kid Bryce at :45. i also always asked what? when others talked to me. i have very good speech and i lip read very well. i have basically grown up as a hearing child
