  • what song is the "cha cha cha forward, back"?

  • @linzimaddison thank u!!

  • This is the song that got me rocking in the early 80's and into Hip-Hop and a great start to life. Thank you!

  • 1:30 Please??!!! during the dirty harry speech

  • @ 4:10 I say children line-Fiorello La Guardia Reading the Comics

  • Does anyone know the name of the album where the "Lesson 2" and "Lesson 3" samples came from? Also the "cha cha cha" samples after 2:24 are probably from the same place.

In a recent interview, Steinski said they were from an old album of 'pretentious' dance lessons that he had lying around, but didn't name it.

  • Globi and the wizzkid

  • Yeaah...this used to get airplay on the radio it was so popular. Technology has great detection systems to tell all the songs so they would be able to figure out what is what so the artists get paid...but this was just good DJ business man! This is what made me want to be a DJ full time in clubs! And check out the Latin Rascals and Shep Pettibone mixes of the same time period. You won't get ANY better than that!

Yeah! Rufus Thomas - 'Itch & Scratch'

If you like this type of stuff, check out 'Brainfreeze' by DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist.

    Hope I've helped!
