I had a bunch of performances of this show and accidently copied over one of the tapes , lost the others when i got divorced. I would always tape Debra also had Missing Persons singing windows. I would buy the complete dvd set if they would only record it.

@fritzthecat4455 No I didn't "pull that out of my ass". SOLID GOLD, the weekly TV show debuted in September 1980 and ran until August 1988. SOLID GOLD HITS, the daily spin-off, only had a run of 40 episodes. You can find an index of all the episodes on TV.com.

Solid Gold Hits was on from made it's debut on 6/4/1984 with it's final show airing 7/27/1984. There was only 40 episodes and airing 5 days a week that meant the show was only on 2 months.

Solid Gold Hits vids could be be more rare than Solid Gold. I seem to be the only one that has any. Wherever Deborah was, there I was also. It was almost as if she cut her hair in preparation for Solid Gold Hits, but who knows? While I agree the long hair was more feminine, she would have to do a lot more than have short hair to turn me off. Deborah may have been getting a case of the frizzies right before switching to short hair. in Love is a Battlefield dance she almost has an afro.
