  • Cannon then picks Trapez up, but the challenger quickly counters and whips the champ into the ropes. Cannon comes back with a nice running DDT for a 2 count. Trapez gets back up and puts the chair outside the ring before lifting Cannon over his shoulder and then driving him down with a modified swinging side slam. Trapez then whips Cannon into the ropes and goes for a running big boot but misses. Cannon then goes for his finishing move, the "Cannon Spike" (Reverse STO), but Trapez counters it!

  • Shockingly, Trapez says "I don't need this!" and he begins to leave the ring, apparently throwing in the towel!!! However, Cannon wants to prove that he's a fighting champ and he gives chase after Trapez. He manages to catch Trapez and then flings him back into the ring. Trapez tries to cowardly ward off Cannon, but Cannon instead stomps his head, which inadvertantly smashes into the steel chair! Cannon continues to stomp the chest of Trapez before picking him up.

  • Trapez then drops Cannon with an arm wrench leg lariat before quickly following it through with a cross-legged surfboard. Trapez yells "tap!", but Cannon refuses to submit! trapez gets up and again repositions the steel chair he brought in. He then runs onto it, leaps off and goes for a diving clothesline, but Cannon barely manages to dodge it! Cannon and Trapez then get up, but the champ hits a few bodyshots before blasting Trapez's head with a nice enzuigiri!

  • Trapez then repositions the steel chair before picking Cannon up. He then tries to Irish whip Cannon into the chair, but the champ reverses it and sends Trapez flying face-first into the opened steel chair instead! Cannon then gets Trapez on his knees and looks to hit another forearm to his lower back like he did earlier, but Trapez rolls away to dodge it. Cannon then goes for a running kick to Trapez's chest, the challenger catches the champ's leg and hits him with a single leg takedown.

  • Cannon gets Trapez onto his knees before hitting a forearm to the back. Cannon then drives Trapez down with an excellent running cutter! However, Trapez gets back up, determined to win the title, and he hits several kicks to the ribs of Cannon before taking him down with a nice jumping spin kick. Travis then drags Johnny into position before getting a chair from the outside. Trapez opens the chair up and like ECW's Sabu, he runs onto the chair, leaps off it and nails an awesome diving leg drop!

  • Welcome back to Grand American Slam, where we are currently in our second match of the event. The current MWF U.S. Champion Johnny Cannon is defending his title against his rival Travis Trapez in what has so far been an excellent title match. Cannon recently drilled Trapez's skull into the mat after hitting a double hammerlock snap DDT to the kneeling Trapez and now the MWF U.S. Champ is looking to dish out more punishment for his rival.
