Additionally, the Vulcan's handle ergonomics are fantastic. I EDC this knife along with my Spyderco Military (brown sprint run w/ CTS-XHP steel). They complement each other perfectly; the Vulcan Tanto (thick, complex blade) for heavy-duty puncturing, draw-cutting, and scraping, while the Military (long, simple, flatly ground blade) for slicing & carving. I highly recommend getting both; just be aware that they are designed for different purposes.
I have had my Vulcan Tanto for over a year, and it has served me very well. It is built extremely well, and nothing is loose (even the clip). The blade design is very sophisticated (American drop-point tanto, concave inner, convex outer, blade recurve). I suppose some people dislike the zytel handle (because it feels like plastic), but it is actually a great meterial. The VG-10 San Mai blade steel has proven to be very good. Although it hasn't received a lot of reviews, it is excellent!
It's a great knife except for one big flaw: the clip. It's very loose and feels horrible when you grasp the knife. I took mine off as I know a lot of guys do.
My only concern is whether or not I want the full size version or the mini.. any body got any suggestions? if someone would like to make a video comparing the two thatd be great
To anyone who's looking into this knife, GET IT. It will not disappoint you. I've had mine for a couple months now, and there's not a thing about it that I would change.

What's the pricing on this and it's "little brother" (Vulcan vl-01)?
