Equipped with snazzy alloy wheels, spoilers front and rear, a blacked-out mesh grille, and standard fog lights, the 2005 Spectra5 draws interest, and particularly among the youthful buyers that Kia seeks. Add to this an impressive load of standard features, a truly fun-to-drive character, quality fit and finish, and one of the best warranties in the business, and the car is undeniably appealing.

  • I don't like that car, I love it. IT's one of the easiest cars in the world to drive, and very fun to drive too.

  • re consider, they're getting better.... HEY better than Chinese LOL

  • I have a 2006 kia spectra5 Hatchback. has 47k miles and runs like a champ. got it for a steal for 4700 bucks. I like it and gets great mpg. Replaced all my speakers and deck and can't wait to add tint, rims, and a subwoofer. If your looking to purchase this car do it, its fun, easy and roomy. This is my first car im 17 and it might be my last lol.

  • I have an 2006 Kia Spectra 5. I have 78k miles on it. I love it no problems great mpg. Friends call it my little go cart. I would buy another Kia for sure. Tulsa Oklahoma area.

  • My Spectra5 2005 has 136,000 miles, bought it brand new and I keep good maintenance on it and even added HID headlights recently, tire wear is about new tires every 60,000, and I have not had any problems at all, My sister has the 2002 Spectra and she has not had any major repairs other than maintenance. Ill deff keep this car for a long long time!!!!!

  • i have the same car but mine is blue and a 2007.

  • Very good review!

  • is it sold in europe?

  • This is my first import and Im very impressed and so much bang for your money I got mine at year end close out fully loaded for $13,000 OTD! Now wish they made a truck I would buy that too!

  • These actually turned out to be very reliable cars. Kia has impressed me so much in recent years. I have family members who drive Kias and they love them. I might actually consider getting one for my next car.

  • @JCtheCheck, well 125hp at the wheels is better than 32hp at the wheels. My old Ford Aspire, had 64hp stock, so i guess that puts the 32hp at the wheels and 64hp at the crank. And thats BEFORE i put an aftermarket intake, exhaust, and performance spark plugs on the car and had a ignition timing adjustment done; Not to mention a $300 tune up with the intake manifold being port and polished.

  • @TheNopiracer Sorry, bud, but all the horspower figures the car manufactures give you are "at the crank", not "at the wheels". If you were to take the car to a dyno, at the wheels would be a little lower, probably about 125 i'm guessing.
