Hey I love this thing and I'm in the process of making one of my own can you get a pic of your controller and explain how you wired it up I'm having a bit of difficulty getting motors to go both ways

hmmm.... a littel too much time on your hands? Sounds like you need a good project to work on. Hehehe.
Actually reminds me of a toy I had when I was a kid, a yellow thin you sat in with two big red wheels. Each wheel had a handle on it that you would crank. If you cranked them in opposite directions you would spin the same way as your contraption does.
