This student film by Donna Barker and Suzanne Nuttall was produced in 1988 as part of the 16mm film class in the Communications Department at Concordia University, under the supervision of teacher/filmmaker Rick Hancox.

SYNOPSIS

Pips Tartar (pronounced peeps tar-tar) is not your average individual - she talks to fruits. A humourous and provocative journey into the mind of a most colourful character.

  • I love this film! This is better than most big budget films I've seen today. It's naturally funny, without having to force it.  Not to mention, the look of it has that real "film" look, unlike some of those other 16mm films on Youtube, which have sort of a home movie-ish feel to them.
