@tigers3010 Western Pond Turtles, formerly named Clemmys marmorata were also called "Mud Turtles" especially back in the 1800's. But this turtle in this video is a Kinosternon which are the mud turtles. The shell really looks like a western Pond turtle but when you look at the face and snout you can see that it's a Kinosternon, the other distinguishing feature would be the bottom of the shell, totally different. I'm not debating common names I'm telling you a difference in Genus/Family.

@Delticola Nope western pond turtles have more than one name! One of their names is a mud turtle!!

Nope, not a western pond turtle. You have a Mud Turtle, Kinosternon, not sure the species however.
