三木たかし(Miki Takashi) created the tune, while 千家和也 (Senke Kazuya) wrote the lyrics in Japanese. A short time later, 鄧麗君 covered another song with this tune in Mandarin. The name of the song is 那句諾言. 王智遠 wrote the lyrics in Mandarin.

關菊英 (Susan Kwan) covered this version in 1978. 鄭國江 is the lyricist for this Chinese version. The song first appeared in the 知己同心 album.
