  • To my chagrin, I never saw Steel Eye live. Thanks Mike. You may notice I play within the chord which makes it easier especially if playing in G and C.

  • Interesting instrument Geoff.. great picken'

    Jack

  • @JackGAdams Thanks Jack. I usually play this as backing and background music when I am telling stories at a nearby castle. The bouzouki is not an authentic medieval instrument but it has that look and sound about it. (If you get this message twice, see if you can spot the difference. - or even three times! lol)

  • @geoff1945 lol ...yes I got three Geoff and this one was error free...looking forward to more of your uploads.

    Jack

  • @JackGAdams - Sorry about that Jack. Ex-teachers find it hard to accept rough drafts! lol Trouble is, too often you only see the error in hindsight.

  • Fabulous version Geoff. I love everything Maddy Prior/Steeleye Span, so this just makes it much more special for me.

  • @theloudhalo -Ah now I'm guessing you were a folky girl of the sixties/seventies. I've done this as a vocal and also made an animated version of misty moisty morning with some friends here.

  • @unrealaldridgeguy - Thankyou for your sympathetic or is it deaf ear. I could not hear a few stray notes. I heard many stray notes! lol I prefer my vocal version of this.

  • Simply beautiful, a few stray notes, but what the hell, one of my fave tunes ever and you played it well :O)

  • @mommarox2 - Calgary was our first stop when my wife and I visited Canada. we saw the old Olympic Stadium in its snowbound beauty......in the middle of May!

Yes the migraine has passed. I don't get it too often but it is incapacitating...you get so bad you darent try to spell incapacitating!
