okay this video is my entry for LizzehMarie's do something contest!
I really like this contest because it's more..real.

okay my video is about bringing notice to abusive teenage relationships
it happens
a lot more than people like to admit
and also it's not just physical, its emotional.

I couldnt think of a couple, ideas tossed around in my head
jack/elizabeth/will (the whole jealousy thing thought I could spin on that)
edward/bella (only in eclipse its really bad, and all the clips I do have he isn't acting that way)
and then I settled on the Invisible.
but then bam!
Fallenangel and I got the idea at the same time

Caroline and Damon.

as much as I love Damon, the way he treated Caroline was wrong.

and this video is a little AU.
Caroline is dead at the end of it,
I was trying to make the message clear.

now about the message
loveisrespect.org is a site for teens to get help and information about abusive relationships
whether they are the abused or possibly abusing.

a lot of people don't know about this. love is respect.
not what Damon and Caroline have, was not love.

This is AMAZING and you're bringing an extremely important, but well ignored problem into the light! I was kind of creeped out by how much I let stuff like that go unnoticed. I mean, I'm not the victim, but it constantly bothers me how far other people would go to be in a relationship, even if it was abusive, and I never recongnized it as a problem (duh, I feel stupid). And worse, the ages keep getting younger and younger!

Keep up the GREAT work tonightsreality, and you TOTALLY deserve to win!

this was amazing! I loved the video. Too many girls do give in and get abused emotionally and physically and it needs to be stoped. But strictly in the show i think that this relationship was good in building the characters. It showed damon not just being all talk and using his powers honestly as they were meant to be used. It built his a slight bit more as a character, but most of all it made caroline into a three dimentional character. She got stronger, less vein,self concious, etc. I like her

Brilliant job! I love Caroline and Damon is awesome in his own way, but during this time I really wanted someone to stake him. The way he used, abused and destroyed Caroline angered me so much. This video is heartbreaking because so many young women are in relationships like that. Again, this is a brilliant video!
