From July to December 2009, Scott Alger generated energy about his subjects by dancing around them, and flooding them with colored light, while they remain frozen as he counted - one one thousand, two one thousand - all to be captured as a still frame by his medium format Mamiya camera.
Watch as Scott creates, on location at the famed East 2nd Street location which houses recording studios used by artists such as the White Stripes and Motley Crue, as well as the innovative and inspirational, Collective Hardware on the Bowery in downtown Manhattan.
