@grpixs Gers went on to bigger things career wise but musically the 2 albums he did with Gillan completely shit on everything he ever recorded with Maiden. Jan was a perfect fit with Gillan whereas he's still the odd man out with Maiden and they only kept him around because they were all great friends.
@grpixs Ha ha, yeah i see your point. Still a great thing to have on your C.V. though, performing with one of the finest rock vocalists the United Kingdom has ever produced. Take it your a Maiden fan then. Don't have any of their albums in my cd collection. It's not that i don't like them just never fully followed their career. I had Seventh Son a while ago which i thought was good but you may disagree. Yeah i'll need to get some Maiden, probably check Spotify first, see what's on offer.
Great rocker from Mr Gillan and Co. The live version on the Mutually Assured Destruction - Glasgow '82 cd is also brill. Gillan were still an excellent band with Gers on guitar duties. Shame money problems and Ian's throat problems caused the group to fold.
