Jack Johnson's cover of Mason Jennings' take on religions. :)

Taken from Brushfire Records' website ( http://www.brushfirerecords.com ).

Lyrics:
ooh, Jesus, i love you
and i love Buddha, too
Ramakrshna, Guru Dev
Daodejing and Mohammed

why do some people say
that there is just one way
to love you god and come to you?
we are all a part of you

is the universe your thought?
you are and you are not
you are all and you are none,
ever ending, just begun

alright
alright
alright
i love you and Buddha, too

  • @bruises02 buddhists don't believe in a god, they believe that you can only find the way into nirvana by yourself...anyways I think people should stop fighting wars over religion, this is just stupid and war can never be the answer to anything

  • If you meet Buddha on the road, run him over! Quit arguing and enjoy the music friends.

  • @merylste Well said.

  • uuuuhuh ACTUALLY It's not that buddhists don't believe in god. however! they don't believe in God. they do believe in "god" as being in all and part of everything. AS WELL AS many many other religions and spiritualities around the world. Regardless-not all buddhists have the same exact Code of Ethics or terms. some call that energy god, while others call it Allah, etc.. Meanwhile, most focus on attaining pure enlightenment.

  • hahahah

  • Jah love we all should come to together and be happy :D..

  • i think i like his cover better

people..stop trying to look smart on youtube, just enjoy the music

  • @bruises02 umm buddhism is not a theistic religion.

  • "everending just begun" epic

  • it's funny cos buddha is fat

  • In the quest for complete equality some have lost the true sense of the word. Equality does not mean an absence of personality or authority, nor does every person delegate the same exact level of respect of authority though we do our best to respect all life and treat all people kindly and respectfully. We also do not call every person on this earth by the same name, because they are not the same person. The same thing go's for God. He is the only God and he has a specific name. It just is.
