The Cyrus Cylinder is an artifact consisting of a declaration issued by the emperor Cyrus II of Persia inscribed on a clay cylinder.
Cyrus cylinder is the world's first known charter of human rights. It expresses Cyrus respect for humanity and promotes a form of religious tolerance and freedom.
Cyrus cylinder was discovered in 1879 and is kept today in the British Museum in London.

  • The Persian Empire was a great Empire, militarily, socially and economically. However, after Islamisation, it's all DOWNHILL. The only fact that Iran exist today is "time given" for Iranians to repent.
