Wireless computer mouse mod/hack

I got a wireless computer mouse for 10$ and decided to mod it to fit my needs
The "scroll wheel" has a round piece of brass with a round magnet glued to it, rotary encoder was replaced by 2 reed magnetic switches, moves very smooth
Noise you hear is from the magnetic switches
I had to move electronics on top because palm gets sweaty after a while
Nothing lost its functionality, powered by 1 CR2 battery (3 volt)

Ummm totally need a new device to do that, anyway props for the effort

@7andOneHalf - yes, right now has a very little motor that spins the scroll as fast as I need it, both directions

Virtual Dub also can help with that, by holding the SHIFT key while scrolling, skips to next key frame

do not try and make the mouse, thats impossible. instead only try and relise the truth. "what truth"?? .....there is no mouse. ...."there is no mouse??.......then you will see that it is not the mouse that rewinds the movie, it is only yourself.

but the video just shows you skimming through a movie. would have liked to see it for gaming or something
