"Ramsey County officials have reached an agreement with the Vikings to be the team's local partner in the effort to secure a new stadium in Minnesota.

The 260-acre site of the new retractable-roof, multi-purpose facility will be the former Twin Cities Army Ammunitions Plant (TCAAP) property in Arden Hills.

"Reaching an agreement with Ramsey County as our local partner is a major milestone in our efforts to finalize a long-term stadium solution, and we are pleased to have found such a strong and forthright partner," said Zygi Wilf, Vikings owner and chairman. "While we certainly appreciate the proposal by the City of Minneapolis, as well as the recent efforts by Hennepin County, we believe the Ramsey County site offers the most benefits to our fans, the team and the State and is the ideal site for a new stadium."

In This video we talk to a Vikings fan with his wife at the Minnesota State Capital rallying in support of a new 900 million Dollar Stadium for Minnesota Vikings ! Most of the money for the New Viking Stadium will come from the taxpayer , State taxes to rise on closing goods and other !

The state would create revenues sufficient to cover $250 million to $300 million in bonds, which would be sold by local governments — or the Metropolitan Council.
• Local governments can bid for a new stadium, and cities or counties can raise sales taxes by 0.5 percent.
• The Vikings are required to make up the remainder, including cost overruns.
In addition, the State of Minnesota would pay for its share with stadium naming rights, a sports memorabilia tax and a pro football player income tax surcharge

  • @SWildful

This guys account was closed but I am just saying that he is retarded. ( :

New Stadium=More revenue for the state in the long run. Which of course means more money for things like "cancer research" and all that other shit that this retard is worried about, but of course he can't think outside of what he sees right on front of his face. Probably because he has a crack pipe in his mouth. ( :

  • This might be the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen!

  • You could sell that truck in los angeles when the vikings move there.

North dakotas economy is exploding and maybe if boston scientific didnt have to pay the joe mauer stadium tax minnesota might be looking slightly more attractive for investors to invest in our strength industries.

Or we could spend a ton of money send medtronic to texas just to give local businesses an extra 7 home games a year doooo dooooo

  • I do not pay attention to the Vikings at all. At all.

  • Lets not become the third Dakota.

    LOL so true...

  • @itubenowplease I'm not for this normalcy bias. I'm against banks and bank bailouts, the patriot act, fiat paper money, property taxes, illegal wars, etc I don't work 9 to 5. I do work but I work for myself and I don't have to work many hours and the stress is low. Even though I am doing ok for now, I think much that goes on is wrong. If you got on welfare and can milk the system power to you. Better enjoy it while you can because it is not going to last, the government is set to collapse.

  • @itubenowplease How do you do it without getting into trouble? Thanks.

  • This is outrageous! I'm tired of taxpayer funding this and that! I'm tired of corporate welfare! Time to slash everything to the bone including military!

  • This sucks for local taxpayers. I went through this with the Carolina Panthers here. The only ones that benefit from this are the owners of the team and the players. Oh, and the few percent of the population that actually go to the games. I watch them from the comfort of my home, and get to see more as a result. Plus, I don't have th fight with some drunk moron.

  • @AridSea No, I Mean " R.E.T.A.R.T , THATS MY POINT
