The middle position is the bridge and neck pup together (your conventional tele switching)!

I have this james burton paisley but in black and red, that is what you have on this guitar in gold, I have it in red, in fact the machine is black, you think you can get this equipment because it is the only missing, I hope I help, I'm from Mexico, tks

@jbsignaturetele I modified mine to give all the standard options plus middle P up only. I place a mini toggle switch and a basic change to the original wiring - easy providing soldering isn't a problem.

Middle position gives the classic tele mixed sound. i.e. bridge and neck, the James Burton tele will not give you middle only

I heard a story from an unconfirmed source (hey, it's the internet) that Leo would "strum" the guitars on his workbench with a screwdriver. This atonal racket got to be a bit too much for his more musical coworkers; eventually one of them tuned Leo's project guitar to an open chord to make Leo's tinkering more tolerable.
