Pop-Rock for those who like it. I prefer hard rock or blues rock, but pop-rock like whitesnake or scorpions I can only listen 2-3 songs than it gets boring.

@gillan5 Whitesnake fans don't care about the name you want to call the band... pop-rock, hard-rock, cock-rock, glam-rock, blues-rock... Whitesnake is the more bluesy hard rock band of all the times, with a really good (pop if you like) ballads and pure hard rock... Unique voice for a legend called David Coverdale!

@whitesnakeblog I'm a big fan .... I think they've morphed into all those categories embarrassingly so sometimes. Still we love them on the whole. I prefer their Blues / hard rock period, forget the big hair period and all that bollocks.

@Netlensky Agreed Sykes is a talented guitarist but his pointless over the top showboating is totally Un-Whitesnake. I've seen Sykes yeah he's good but he thought he should mastrubate the guitar all the time. Fuckin spoils the song. Micky Moody / Bernie Marsden are better IMO any day of the week.

@Netlensky How does he exactly suck the mood? What is weird about the soloing? it's freaking awesome and it adds an edge to the song, and who the hell might you be to judge Powell's tempo???? I know you like the old version of the song and I do too, but it's just another version, I wouldn't want to see different people play the same song without putting something of their own in it, would you?

@thisusersuck Exactly right,man! Sykes sucks the mood of the song on behalf of weird soloing! Powell is kinda chopping , no sense of style in proper tempo ! Sort of disco on 40 or either 240 bpm! Rediculois and sad on the band!
