Here we have the all tube Blackheart, made by Crate, 5 or 3 watt combo. This thing has some of the best tone for the buck! Simple to use, and cheap to own. It is not a huge sounding amp, but does really well in small clubs, or recording.
I am a bass player so lay off the crappy licks comments.
the squawk in the back is Diego the Macaw. He likes to chime in all the time.
Here ya go, take it as you see it!

  • Was someone violating a duck in the background?

  • Just fuckin crank that shit, and then whack your bitchy ass neighbour over the head with 8 pounds of hardwood. You'll be glad you did cause this amp sounds beautiful when its all-out.

  • Its made by crate you said? Do you know where it is manufactured? Is it one of those cheaper lines made in China or indonesia? I had never heard of this amp until recently. Nice bluesy tones. Good playing too! ;)

  • I'm either getting this or a epiphone valve junior valve junior which I'd best for clean but blues distortion solos etc

  • @jmbstudios thats why... i see...

  • @jamezcollinz cos ur gay

  • why is it soo cheap??

  • Oh, I forgot the bass is great (though I agree it does't show on this video).......I personally prefer the bass on the separate cabinet version (a bit deeper I think)

By the way......the comment he made about Crate being in financial trouble.....that was posted 2 years ago.....and this line is selling like hotcakes.....the build and dependabiliy has also been excellent (I took, one apart....real Emmence speaker!)

  • I have spent considerable time playing on this amp (both this version and the separate head/speaker versions) using single coils, P-90's, and some humbuckers.

I prefer the 3 watt setting......and at that setting is is one of the most deep, rich, lush, tones I have ever heard from a good tube amp, on top of that it sells for very little, great for living room, practice , small gigs (small coffee house) AND this unit responds excellent with digital effects, that is unusual I think.

  • can you get a pretty clean tone with humbuckers

  • it have a nice tone but to simple for me, I just can't live without reverb tremolo and a master volume
