Very good question posed by richardperry2. I would expect the 70th week not to start with the Feast of Trumpets, but rather with some type of world peace agreement that allows Israel to build the 3rd Temple and start their Jewish priestly customs of lamb sacrifice, etc. I believe this to be preceeded by the destruction of Damascus. Check yourself, but the Jews are making plans, as we speak, to build the Temple, and Jewish architects have determined the Dome of the Rock is not in the way!

According to Scripture the Day of Trumpets signals the gathering of the Elect for Judgment on the Day of Atonement and then the Feast of Tabernacles which make up the 23 day Harvest Festival.

The Last Trumpet is not a Warning, like the earlier trumpets.

Richard you and I can both agree that the New Covenant fulfillment of this next, yet to be fulfilled 5th feast, the Feast of Trumpets will be a blockbuster. What epic event will have happened on this future new moon of Tishrei? And when? And why? Are the trumpets really just a summons to Judgment a mere ten days before the last day Day of Atonement, Day of Reckoning, Day of Accounting? Or in the love and mercy of God might the watchmen of Israel have some earlier business to attend to to?

Yes, this is certainly true. And the watchmen are beginning to warn and encourage the saints to draw nearer to the heart of the Shepherd of Israel. But Richard, and Harvester let me ask you this. A blockbuster day of blowing of shofars, a single day in history, is up in our future. Moses says it will become a "memorial of blowing of trumpets". What might have happened?

I Cor. 15 and 1 Thess 4 state the dead in Christ rise, those alive in Christ are changed, and so we are with the Lord forever. The Word of God doesn't say SHOFARS, but "the trumpet shall sound". The current Jewish celebration is a yearly memorial of blowing trumpets. The Word doesn't say the "last trump" will be blown by the Israelites. The real Messiah is coming from Heaven and He takes everyone by surprise except for those Born-again believers that are looking for His return.

When Yom Teruah, the Day of Trumpets, is fulfilled Christ will have just appeared in the clouds of the sky.

The Last Trumpet will sound and the angels will gather Yahweh's Elect from heaven and from the earth.

This will be the Feast of Trumpets gathering at the Second Coming of the Messiah, called Christ.

Praise Yahweh !

The last trump sounds the return of Christ, from Heaven, when every eye sees Him. Sorry, but Israel doesn't blow that trumpet!! Christians are supposed to be doing their part to preach repentance and faith in Christ, even to the Jews, in this present age.

The "last trump" sounds the return of Christ, from Heaven, to earth. That trumpet is NOT blown by the Israelites. The business that Christians should be about is preaching repentance and Christ cruficied to the Jews, in this present age. As far as the Israelites, they are about building the 3rd temple, because they still don't believe Messiah has come yet. This is what sets them up for epic end-time deception. If Christians aren't discerning, we'll be deceived also.

Correct me if I am wrong but it appears that Harvester and Richard are both placing the epic blockbuster fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets at the end of the final seven years of the age. This would place both upcoming Fall Feasts in the same year, just as it was with the spring feasts. So as you see it Tishrei 1 Feast of Trumpets will be ten days before the Day of Reckoning, Day of Atonement at the last day. OK I am prepared to take a look at that. Can you both fill in the details?
