    they wanted only a few characters to dominate. also basically now capcom makes games based on feedback, and a lot of people were whining that the fireabllers/honda etc needed to be nerfed/ personally I'm for every character being the best they can be, but that's just me. apparently this is now an mmo. OMGEE HHS IS SO BORK NERF PLOX.

  • @Galkatokk because honda is easier to use at a beginner level and newcomers to the game complained about it even though it really wasn't op. same reason they nerfed abel's roll because people who didn't know how to deal with it complained about it.

  • honda is still a good characters. honda players are always whining, they even did it in super where he was top tier....

  • Seth Killian had the opinion that Honda and Dhalsim were the two strongest characters in Super. Akimo used DJ, who was arguably the worst charge character in Super. Honda got the nerf bat in AE, making him nowhere near as strong as he was in Super. In any case, Mike Ross > Akimo

  • @bznraisu Fei Long does insane damage. His damage has been unchanged since SF4, whereas virtually every other member of the cast has seen damage reductions.

    This is just a minor example. His rekka-ken causes ~150-170 damage depending on light, medium or hard versions, are all confirmable (so therefore are safe), are all lightning fast (so you can punish virtually anything) and all break armour by virtue of being quickly multi-hitting attacks.

    For all of those positives, that's too much damage.
