Other Sounds #8- Petting Ludwig

This was a *very* spontanious video of me petting one of my two wonderful cats, Ludwig. He is a lavender angora that I adopted after he had been abandoned at about 2 weeks old. I was working at a veterinary hospital when a customer brought him in, and I took him home. He was nearly dead from starvation and dehydration. He's about ten years old now. He's very skittish, and tends to run away if there are any loud noises or sudden movements. He doesn't purr much, because he's Ludwig- and kind of neurotic.
So anyway, I was sitting on the couch, watching Once Upon A Time, when he hopped up to refill his love meter. I started petting him and grabbed the camera on a whim. Please excuse any background noise or visible distractions like the tv or baby wipes, toys, etc- this was not planned, and I just thought it seemed calming. Anyway, enjoy!

What a beautiful and adorable cat. Most of my animals have been rescues. My cat that I have now who is 18 was found wandering around the worst part of Detroit, he was just a baby and we couldn't not take him in. And he's still extremely playful and hyper.

Ah cats, animals that prove the theory of quantum entanglement. Mine has vitreous floaters in his left eye. The cast little shadows on his retina and he chases them.

@SilentCitadel we got Dootzen when my guy was in vet tech school. Dootzen was a lab kitty at the Agricultural shelter, where alot of the clinical stuff was taught. He was sooo popular that a contest of who would adopt him was started and guess who won! which I find ironic due to the fact that all he did for the first 5 years we had him was pee all over everything I owned! ( the male marking kind of pee!) But we are not the kind of people to give up an animal for any reason...
