Over the last year, more than 6,000 people have been murdered in Mexicos drug wars, more than 700 of them in Tijuana alone.

Teodoro Eduardo García Simental, El Teo, is a major player in Tijuanas drug war, a larger-than-life figure who has escaped the law and left gruesome corpses in his wake.

Worldfocus correspondent John Larson, producer Bryan Myers and field producers Megan Thompson and Ivette Feliciano spend five days in Tijuana, where life in El Teos reach is surrounded by death.

  • how many of you from anywhere in the world came to the united states and thought that blacks in america were just lazy and cry racism allthe time i bet you feel a lot different about things now

  • just want to clarify that most criminals doing this shit are not tijuana natives, almost all are from southern mexico,we tijuana born people are hard working and honest people that like to live in peace.

  • probably just some government agency controlling drugs as they know drugs will always be in circle but cant legalise it for political reasons

  • You are right but so is Azteka.

In the English speaking world if someone says America, they are referring to the United States.

In the Spanish speaking world, if someone referrs to America, they are referring to the entire continent from Argentina to Canada.

Geographically speaking, Mexico is in North America.

Culturally speaking, Mexico is in Latin America and in some cases Central America.

  • If you cannot trust local police then the national army should come in and search every person and every building and remove all guns and drugs found and do this on a daily basis.

  • FREE THE STEW MAKER!!!!

  • @RobbingRacistRaza i know about the shrthand, but the thing is i have that they think america is only them, is like some saying f***k america and it could be some asian guy hating the continent lol. hey i live in canada and on the books in here north america is canada. usa and mexico, even i saw a book where north and south america are 2 continents.in my countrr america is just one continent, ofcourse is just like saying north of usa, and south of usa but stil it is just one country

  • @Azteka America is used as shorthand for the United States of America.

You wouldn't know this, but this is a long tradition in the United States of America's (i.e. American) culture that you can see in songs like "God Bless America" and "America the Beautiful"

Just for your information, geographically speaking the the United States and Canada are considered North America, and Mexico down to Panama is considered Central America.

  • @KnightsOfChaoz Viva Mexico?? Yes the old Mexico, now it's completely destroyed and corrupted
