Cockatiels with Brown Feathers! Video was taken on Feb 10th 2010 to share the uniqueness of these birds.. There are 4 mature males, and 6 young males entering their first molt.. All birds, adult and juvenile exhibit the same type of feather structure, so the brown feathers will not molt out as in a male pearl... I have a female(so we know it is not just males) with brown feathers. she has lutino also but mostly brown I can find no info. on brown cockatiels. my female is full grown. the feathers do not molt out to a different color thay are brown.I know nothing about her background. I left you a private message with my e-mail ....please let me know if you find out any info on this color mutation.
