Whatever your current voice teacher or anybody else says, this is not good singing.

 You lack vibrato and strain after the notes, with a sound that simply isn't pleasant. That doesn't mean that you couldn't become a better singer. But you'd have to find a better voice teacher and develop decent vocal technique. Your current teacher is NOT doing that. At the very least, he/she should certainly not be encouraging you to sing in public at this stage in your development .
