Never got the chance//One-shot//Lolena

I placed a bundle of her favorite flowers on the black wooden table. The flowers seemed to stand out compared to the dark gloomy room. Just like she did...she was unique compared to other girls, the way she smiled was breath taking...she was amazingly diffrent. She had a fragile heart. She pretended to be fine even though she was hurting. The way her laugh would pierce through your deepest troubles. The way her eyes could calm your heart down. The way her sweet voice would act as if it was my conscience. The way she would randomly smile at me, because she knew something was on my mind. I was selfish and stupid, I never actually realized...she was everything in my world.

"Logan? what do you see yourself doing in 10 years?" she ask me.
"I'll probably be a professional football player, living in a billion dollar mansion.You?" I said with a proud grin.
"Hopefully, I would be married to you, with 2 kids, and it doesnt matter how rich we were, I would be 100% happy" she said as she smiled at me.

I dont care about being a professional football player anymore. She loved me but I treated her like nothing. She would always be there for me even if I was losing my mind. I never got to spend real quality time with her...I always avoided her, never really faced her, I put everything before her.

"Hey man!" my friend said as he walked up to me
"Hey" I said opening my locker.
"I'm having a party tonight, you coming?" he asked me
"I cant I have a date" I said jamming my mathbooks into my locker.
"Well, man, your gonna miss the hottest party of senior year" he said
"I'll be there" I said carving in after he said 'hottest party'

Soon after, she was diagnose with cancer. she didnt have much time to live. Day by day she started to feel worse. She told me that she was going to be fine, when she knew she wasnt and thats what lead to this date.

but worse of all...I never got a chance to tell her 'I love you'. My deadline is up and I still never said it...my chance is up. I never got to say the most important thing...is it to late to say it now?

"I LOVE YOU SELENA. I never wanted to lose you, nobody did. I never wanted you to leave, you didnt give me enough time to tell you that you are the most important person in my world. You are the most perfect and amazing person I've ever met...and I dont know what I could do now, I'm lost. I shouldnt have cared about all the other disractions in my life. I should've only cared about you" I said into the microphone as it came to my time to speak. I ment everything I said, I shouldve told her when she was here.
