Abs Workout: Cheerleading Exercises How To for Six Pack Abs

Inez is a high school cheerleader and in this video she gives you a five min exercise routine to tone your abs with 5 different exercises that will help you strengthen your core muscles, abs, and obliques. This is a follow-along video, great for bikini season or cheerleading.

She explains how each exercise helps your core muscles and tone your abs. These exercises will also help you with jumps such as the herkie, high kick, pike, hurdler, toe touch, etc., which require a lot of core strength.

Cheerleading incorporates dance, tumbling, and stunts, and the cheerleader has been a pop culture icon for many years. Any cheerleader will tell you what a dangerous sport cheering can be and that it's important to be safe and to stretch before every routine. These exercises are great even if you aren't a cheerleader.
