SAS - Selection and Training.

Part 1 of 3.

The SAS was a unit of the British Army during World War II formed in 1941. They are the elite unit for which all other units are based. In these videos you'll see a number of techniques which were used to judge a candidates mental strength and physical stamina. These may or may not be accurate. However, they act as an example or representation of the trials and tribulations that the candidates must undergo in order to obtain their winged dagger.

  • @mxfreak9596 ahahah what are you on about?!

  • @Jospehporta The SAS are posted to some of the worst areas with in world! of course there going to take casualties!! lets not forget it was the mind of David Sterling who effectivly wrote the book on how to enter a room, every special force has modeled its self on the SAS, Germany, Israel, France and lets not forget America! virtually every country has used technics in the 'Killing House', Room breaching, survival and intellagence gathering! FACT.

  • @Jospehporta The British Empire is out of the history books, mainly because it was an important event with in history as it changed the face of the world, may be not for the better, but it brough new inivations in technology, agriculture, Industry, military eqipment, the modern banking system, and lets not forget it gave birth to a country called America? :)

  • @Jospehporta Every country has economic problems!, what I want to know is why America is one of only afew contries still investing vast amounts of money on advancing the military teck? whats the bloody point?!? America's in dedt for $15 Trillion!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whoa...alot of hate here! Let's start on a clean slate shall we? What all special forces selection have in common is that the test is designed to make you fail. Those who fail in rejection make it through to one of the most privileged, skillful, honorable, and resilient fighters in any nations armed forces. The Special Forces in Great Britain and the US are among those few nations with highly skilled warriors. For the British, the SAS have been around for some time. And they are here to stay!

  • @technerd1994 Really? Please post just one American military vid where there's Brits trolling mate. You just pulled that comment out of your ass lol. All of the bitching is always on the Brit military vids.
