@BasicallytoBasics Oh, that is very different from Germany. In Germany you can visit a university after finishing the "Gymnasium" (you'll get a degree called "Abitur") and pupils are mostly 18 years old, when they finish the "Gymnasium". So, girls can be at university at the age of 18, but boys have to go the "Bund", which is the German army or have to do "Zivildienst" which is some kind of community service, each for six months. :D

@Biscuitgamer Yes, it seems everybody is learning English. Thankfully I was born in an English speaking country. And yeah, I heard that a school in Holland is for kids that only speak Dutch. And basically the goverment won't give them funding or college grants. They're basically punishing them for not speaking English.

But speaking of college, we start after highschool. So 18 or 17 right after the summer. But anyone can go at anytime after highschool if they wish.

@BasicallytoBasics Thank you. You know, German pupils have to learn English. English is getting more and more important in the whole world; the German knows that. There is no kind of school, which is not teaching English, even pupils with intellectaul disabilities learn it (as far as they are able to, of course). Btw, I've got a question, when does the average American go to a college? You know, we don't have that in Germany.

@BasicallytoBasics Yeah, but he did kill over one million jews indirectly. And he was insane, probably a genius, but insane. What he did is unforgivable even he brought Germany back from the rubbles you mentioned. Yeah, thanks; talking (writing) with people from other countries always is a pleasure to me, because it gives me the feeling of living in this world, not just in the world of my own perception. ;-)

@Biscuitgamer Oh, I see. Ya know, in my opinion if it weren't for the whole Jew thing. Hitler wasn't a bad person. He was just looking out for his country. And he did a good job bringing Germany back from the rubbles of World War 1.

@BasicallytoBasics No, I don't think that way. I've been to the USA many times, because my uncle lives there and no one there ever thought I could be a Nazi :D. The annotation was just to avoid missunderstandings. Mentioning Hitler easily makes even some Germans believe you could be a Nazi.
