That sounds like a good way to do it. What I am planning is joining the military in June. I will save as much money as realistically possible, then use it to pursue a racing career. Good luck to you!

thats why u get a job when your young , im currently in college for another year but when im out im going to the bridgstone racing academy here in ontario

Ya their steep prices are the factor that I can't really pursue my racing career.

Man, I'm in the same boat as you. I wish getting into racing was a bit more affordable. Even karting, which is the "affordable" end of motorsport, is very expensive.

Guys, I would LOVE to be able to take part in Skip Barber's Racing School. But how will someone who has a passion for it, is 19 years old, in school and doesn't exactly come from a "well-off" family be able to pursue their dreams? I know this type of sport requires money - and lots, but isn't their anyway to compete without a high salary?
