  • Is the side of your coat clinging to your arm a side effect of this device, or is that the cut of your jacket doing so?

  • @allmagicgy I think it's just the coat. That coat was too big for me. I'm a 38R and it was a 40R. I have since given that suit away :)

  • Ed this looks like it has some real potential, but do you have to use it at that side angle. I prefer facing my specs head on.

  • @NicholasSanderfer I use it at just about any angle depending on the situation. I shot this video right after I finished the final prototype, like an hour later. I just grabbed some stuff and turned on the camera. So you can see it doesn't take much practice just to use it. With that said I would advice spending some time with it, to the point where you can use it second nature.

  • @SuperMagicRay That may be true. Stage Illusionists no need for practicing soh. They instead work on lighting, music, choreography, fx, ect. It depends on goals. The holdout is just a tool, like a hammer. It doesn't eliminate soh only enhances overall performance when used properly. It's art. And in art there is expression, and many, ideas, on the "proper way to perform". If you like it, use it. If you love it, live it. Have you ever used a TP? It's like that only more advanced. Just a tool.

  • @Mindfreakbyjesus Sorry, I don't have time. Too, busy inventing devices for you pros out there to save you guys time. I practiced plenty of sleight of hand back in the day and still work on some from time to time. But most of my time is spent inventing and consulting now a days. Thanks for the advice though. I wish I had the time. I really admire those who have the dedication for working on handling.

  • @EdMagicEntertainment I prefer to use the old fashioned way. Slight of hand and practice. The problem with the young magicians of today is they would rather use a gimmick instead of the time to master a vanish or transformation.

  • Do The Sharpie Marker Thing!

  • Work on ur SOH

the raven is a pull, the geko is a pull, can only vanish objects and needs to be reset in between effects. the EM3 is a real holdout that mechanically delivers and removes multiple items repeatedly with no reset. The EM3 and the Red Dragon have no reset and do not use gravity and you can activate the device when ever you want to with many items over and over. Think James Bond, he would use an (EM3) and verses an elastic pull toy. They work totally different.
