  • Charles had personality, something that is a technical foul to have today.

  • @teagan684

Couldn't have put it better myself. Well said!!

  • Barkley was a power forward in a small forward's body who could bring the ball up like a point guard, shoot from outside like an off guard, and play in the paint like a center. I can think of only two players in NBA history that can claim the same thing: Magic Johnson and Julius Erving.

  • Finally, someone who knows something. Awesome!

  • @Wobgoblin actually, magic couldn't shoot like an off guard and i don't think that dr J ever played the 4. but still, well said!

  • Sir Charles is the greatest power forward ever. Karl Malone is good but Karl can't carry Charles Barkley Jack Strap. Wich other power Forward in the past or present that have the agility, power, passion, desire and not to mention the all around skills Barkley posses. oh, his my favorite athlete of all time.

  • @DeAthPKeR100 Fuck Charles Oakley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @halokid26 How was he bad defensively, look at any Barkley highlight clip on here, you will see more block's than anyone else. Awesome blocks too. This guy way better defence than Malone. 92 dream team mvp, enough said. On a team with Jordan, Bird, Magic, Drexler, Pippen, etc, Barkley was their best player

  • @DeAthPKeR100

And over 10,000 fewer points. Read Conorski's statement again.

  • @Conorski Oakley has 12,000 rebounds as well

  • @halokid26 Both forwards put up similar numbers in rebounds, steals and blocks in their prime. The reason why Malone continued to put up better than most numbers was due to his conditioning and stockton. Barkley's added range meant he's a triple threat and it would mean more if he never had back injuries. The fact Barkley was all over the place, had handles and faced tighter competition (sorry but Malone/stockton rolled easy in the west) with a bad back means something as a player.

  • @AceroySangre he didn't get in the way of any dynastys. no titles. Hijacked MJ of an MVP award, sucked defensively, and jacked up way too many 3's
