The rags-to-riches Indian romance "Slumdog Millionaire" dominated the Golden Globes. The movie's director took home four major awards... shaking the Hollywood scene.
STORY:
British Director Danny Boyle was greeted by movie fans after his film "Slumdog Millionaire" swept the sixty-sixth Annual Golden Globes.
"Slumdog Millionaire," tells the story of a young Indian man looking for love and competing for money on a television game show.
The movie won the best film and director awards for Boyle, the fifty-two year old director.
Best Screenwriter also went to Slumdog's Simon Beaufoy and composer A.R. Rahman won for Best Musical Score.
The next stop for "Slumdog Millionaire" is the Oscars.
The Golden Globe Awards are given out each year by some 90 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
