Another Nutnfancy Gear Testing Adventure with friend Cr0cket20. Our goal is a beautiful lake basin at about 9,500 feet and as a mid-June hike, it usually is a straight forward route. Not this time. We encounter a lot more snow than we'd thought. It mounds up to 20 feet in places and completely obscures the trail as we gain elevation. Luckily its compacted with the warm temperatures and snow shoes aren't needed. It does increase the difficulty. No matter. We joke and carry on with the higher energy levels that usually accompany the trip's beginning and make some good progress. Topics include our gear, wilderness trapping and spearing, knives, moose, and coming down a mountain in a frying pan.//////////////////////////Music licensed to TNP from Jason Shaw.

  • Nutnfancy arent you afraid of bears when you are out hiking?

  • @SuperTowlie1 Where he goes, you just don't see them. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy does he also carry a side arm with him anyway?

  • @jgsnipe1 Yes, Nutn is always carrying...even off the mountain. -- Veri

  • Nutn, why did you like hunting as a child, but no longer as an adult?

  • @July41776 If we needed the meat, Nutn probably would...but he just says that he prefers to watch animals rather than kill them now. -- Veri

  • in my pack for a cheap mattress I use the dollar rafts. you will have to pitch them every 2 or 3 trips, and you want to get one with separate chambers for the pillow and body area, because when you are on the ground the air will gather in the pillow portion cause your body weighs more than your head

  • if u like big mountain watch sean pettit in attack of la nina

  • @nutnfancy Nutn, I bet all your haters with their tails stuck to their couch cushions look like ants from the tops of those awesome mountains you climb. Keep up the good work, Nutn!

  • @ianjeisenberx Trekking poles are VERY handy.. I use them on Day Hikes and they help push me uphills and help pull me back when I am going down hill. They give you something to lean on when you stop to take a break.. and they've saved me from falls a few times. Well worth the money.

  • already watched this but I don't care, watching it again (:

  • Just curious if you can recall what pants and boots Cr0cket20 is wearing in this video are....thank you!
