@KyureLirnglot I would rather kill something out of defense or necessity. Yeah, I do dislike genetically altering plants and stuff like that. It's freakish... My biggest problem with all this is the conditions they seem to be raised in, and the method of killing. We all die sure, but we gotta have some freedom.
I just can't see how we can be comfortable with our approach. It's spoiled. I would rather hunt a wild boar. Just my opinion. At least it's not lazy. x.x Interesting thought...

I don't like the way they kill these creatures, this is an unnatural way to "hunt"...if you can call it that. Hunting is natural, and eating meat too, but I have a problem with locking an animal up, breeding them, pulling one out, slitting it's throat and eating the thing. :/

@fwahoovaghad: Yet you don't have a problem, or seem to, of genetically altering plants and mass producing them using fossil fuels and chemicals that result in a sub-par bland product to the same breed that I tend to eat grown where I live that has a high clay content in the soil.
Throat slitting isn't really unnatural, it happens in nature. Also, raising plants is not natural. Just because something is unnatural doesn't make it wrong.

death and suffering are natural things that occur in human and animal lives . the problem is that certain people exploit and kill unnecessarily for fun or profit but make it taboo at the same time .i don't eat meat because , personally , it disgusts me but , i don't have a problem with others eating meat either cause it's the way they're killed that bothers me . i don't remember where i was going with this , i'll come back this . opinions welcome :P

@AliyahWasHeree: May I ask, do you have a natural dislike of meat or did you acquire it?
KyureLirnglot 5 months ago
@KyureLirnglot i never really loved it , i'd spend hours dissecting a chicken leg when i was younger . but i liked bacon & stuff , still do . i just didn't like all the veins , fat , and bones . then after being vegetarian for a while i tried one of those soy meat things & still hated it cause it tasted like meat .

@AliyahWasHeree: Really? I've never had any soy product taste like meat. Now that isn't to say that they are always bad tasting, but no where near meat.
