My great aunt Gladys Holmes (1915-2002) & husband Colonel Carl Berj Dockmejian (1907-2003) in Flagstaff AZ 1967 when my grandfather Bill "Willie" Holmes and his wife Loraine visited them. Gladys was one of his 4 sisters; Clairbel, Vivian and Ethel. Doc, as our family always called him was a very funny man always with a hop in his step, as shown here! My father, principal William C Holmes Jr of Sunshine Elementary School, Doc was his most favorite of uncle. Doc & Gladys would travel out once a year in an RV with their dachshunds to visit us when I was very young. Doc was Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and born in Brookville, Massachusetts, lived in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. Doc met Gladys while she was in U.S. World War II, in the Womens Army Corps as an Aviation Cadet. If anyone knows any buildings or places shown please leave a comment.
