In Port-au-Prince, Haiti, citizens are turning to looting in a desperate attempt to obtain supplies, security officials are working to prevent the illegal activity.
Six days later, help is still not reaching a lot of the survivors of Haiti's earthquake -- people are still struggling to find water or a handful of food.
Looting spread to more parts of downtown Port-au-Prince on Monday as hundreds of young men and boys clambered up broken walls to break into shops and take whatever they can find
Looters fought with knives, hammers and rocks and police tried to disperse them with gunfire.Heavily armed gang members escaped from the city's prison after it was destroyed by the quake.

@MistaChubbz1 For real...these people have been waiting for ten damn days for some food and help. I say they should tear the place apart and get what they need. Their own fucking government hasn't done a damn thing for them for how many decades? No they aren't looting...they are taking what should be rightfully theirs at this point.
